Our Projects

Our aim was to design and produce a single item of furniture to fit in with current interior trends. The decision was made to create a set of filing drawers in a classic design. Initial sketches were drawn and the design details were fine tuned until we arrived at our final specification. A number of oak samples were produced until we reached our preferred finish. The aim was to recreate an aged oak appearance. The required materials were calculated and a mixture of white veneered MDF and solid oak were used.

The handles are recycled and were previously fitted to a traditional school desk. A locking draw was incorporated for practicality and in keeping with the original design, we installed label holders in a brass finish. The filing unit was then stained in medium oak and spray finished with a clear lacquer.
