You may have seen on our previous blogs about Bespoke furniture becoming more and more popular with home owners around the world.
The definition for “Bespoke” is “custom made / custom order”
This means that anything bespoke (like Beds and furniture) can be made to the specifications of the customer
Did you know that the term “bespoke” isn’t used in the United States, but it is normally used in the United Kingdom, so instead of Bespoke Furniture it will be called “custom” or “custom-made” furniture in the USA.
Bespoke products can be built to a person’s height or built for a person who has physical limitations. For example a person in a wheelchair, may need furniture made at a lower height or even a tall person may need larger pieces of furniture that are not available at your local Furniture or bed dealership.
The other advantage is the manufacturer’s ability to build the furniture to specific sizes or shapes depending on the customers view, this is useful for homeowners with rooms that have odd angles or hard to get to spaces where regular furniture won’t fit.
If you’re looking for bespoke sofas or chairs Perkins Stockwell we can design and build any bespoke products for you in our Leicester based workshop, not only that Perkins use a wide range of materials with our very own on-site polisher and spray finisher.
